This is the next step in my reflective work in progress. My, this large piece is a challenge. (22x30") The first glazes are on, and some of the masking is removed. So far, I'm pretty pleased. Now, I will go in and soften the sparkles just a bit, and work on the background a little more. The angle that I took this photo from makes it look a bit distorted. What I"m learning is, is that the large size watercolor is very hard to work on, as it is too large for my table, and the easel doesn't work so much for the detail work. The running down of the color is not what I want in all places. Next time, maybe I will choose to work smaller. Maybe.
