Hope Found

Hope Found
Oil and cold wax
available

Have you ever experienced just a hopeless feeling and an area of your life? Maybe everything else in your life is going good, but in this one little area it's a big deal. A big deal of hopelessness. And then all of a sudden, the Lord can bring hope.  All of a sudden, I have found hope again for this area of my life. This painting is oil and cold wax, and is number 12 in the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. It's kind of crazy to think that the challenge is almost half over.  I think after number 15 I will go back to another style much more controlled. I have enjoyed these abstracts and always love to come back to them when I'm feeling the need to rest.

Release

"Release"
Alcohol Ink on Yupo
6"x6"

This is number 23 of the 30 Paintings in 30 days!  I really didn't paint today.  I did a few the other day, in anticipation of knowing I would out of the studio today...doing God stuff.  It was a good day!  God is always doing so many things at once.  He's done a number on me lately.  Praise the Lord!  What do you need him to do for you?

What the World Needs Now

"What the World Needs Now"
12"x12" Oil and Cold Wax on Wooden Panel

Oh man.  I can't help but remember my life BC.  That is, Before Christ.  Enough said.  What the world needed then and still needs now, is His everlasting love.

His Love

"His Love"

12"x12" Oil and Cold Wax on Cradled Wood.

This one was lot's of fun.  It has so many layers, and so much drying time.  It was not intentional at all, but God knows that I dedicate my art to Him.  I see the nail, the Rose of Sharon, the Heart, and the Tie that binds us to Him. Bless His Absolute Holy Name, Jesus.

Turquoise and Brown cross Silk Scarf

This beautiful turquoise and brown scarf is 100% silk, hand painted and steam set for vibrancy. It is hand washable, and one of a kind. I can duplicate the cross and the style in other colors if desired. This is a 2 step process in the painting alone, so it is priced at 55.00.

Credit cards are accepted and proceeds go to missions.

Java Number 9

#9 in my Java Series. This one is done with collage papers on 8 x 10 canvas board and lots of texture in the background. I added the clay cross as an accent piece. Jesus in the morning is good!

For Sale. Again, for Uganda mission money.

Reflections of the Cross #1

Watercolor 11x14 on watercolor paper. Sold $750.00
I really had fun doing all of these reflections. I acquired this empty Louie bottle. I was intrigued with the cross that was so reflected. I couldn't help but think, "Lord, YOU really are the answer. You are the true beauty that reflects all good things".

This was my first attempt at doing reflections from a bottle like this. I've done a couple of silver pieces, but none like this. It was very tedious and not for the faint at heart. It took many hours of concentration, painting each small segment at a time. Hope you enjoy.
