Java Number 9
#9 in my Java Series. This one is done with collage papers on 8 x 10 canvas board and lots of texture in the background. I added the clay cross as an accent piece. Jesus in the morning is good!
For Sale. Again, for Uganda mission money.
Java #8
This beautiful 11x14 in my Java Series, is less textured than the rest. I used some manipulated collage papers, and some moulding paste for the textured rose. The cup is done in torn paper. The background is so beautiful, I couldn't bear to cover it up with texture. The steam swirls remind me of little worship dancers. That's just what I feel like doing after a good cup of joe in the mornings. I'm really pleased with this one. It was fun to do. Proceeds go towards Uganda mission sewing machine project. This one is not sold, yet.

"The Pearl of Great Price", by Jaxon Grizzle. My 8 year old grandson did this one this morning out of acrylic on canvas paper. He just went at it, and glued a stone on for the pearl. Even though he doesn't know the full meaning of the pearl of great price, he has a heart for God. He's got an evangelistic heart and often shares the gospel with his little friends. He prays for healing in his little brothers quite often.
This beautiful sunset was just completed by my darling little just turned 6 year old grandson, Connor Grizzle. This was his first time to paint with "big boy" paints. He was amazed at the color mixing process, letting the colors mix on the canvas. He loves color, just like his Abby. I was amazed at how concerned he was about wanting to stay in the lines. Awesome for a 6 year old!
He said, "We're going to be an artist!" His big brother, Jaxon, said, "Connor, I am an artist!". Love it!

I like Coffee and I like Tea
This is #4 in my Java series. Ok, I know it's not Java. But it's still beautiful and fitting to include in my Java series. It's texture and collage, using an assortment of papers, string, and other things for all of that background texture. I used acrylic and other mixed media. This was a blast to do! Can't wait to do another. I'm working on prints for this one, also. Contact me if interested. This original is sold.
Jesus in my Cup Java #3
This is 11x14 acrylic and mixed media. It's my third in a series of Java, with lots of texture and collage papers. I really like this one. The photo doesn't do it justice. this original is sold, but I'm working on prints. Contact me, if you would like one, of if you would like an original of your own.

Top of the Morning
This is a textured collage piece 8x10" on canvas board. It was experimental, just playing with textures and citra solve papers. The idea came from a wonderful little song that my husband made up that he sings on his way to "the Hill" each morning for his quiet time with Jesus. Won't you agree that Jesus and coffee are the best way to start the day?
This is SOLD along with two other commission pieces to go with it. More to come! What fun!
This too, is for Mission Uganda. I'm hoping to raise enough money to provide 15 sewing machines for Uganda people to use to make a living and feed their babies. Each machine is 150.00 Prints will be available soon. Check back on this post for availability date.
Too many Dives
I just finished this large 16x20" watercolor of my sweet, but so tired husband. We'd just finished a series of 4 dives daily for 5 consecutive dives in the beautiful waters of Key Largo, Fl. this was a wonderful diving vacation that we enjoyed with two of our children. Our son, Bradley works as a dive instructor for Rainbow Reef, which is an awesome dive operation in Key Largo. He's a great dive master, showing us all kinds of sea life including Bull sharks, sting rays, and the normal cool stuff. Our daughter, Paula added so many laughs to our trip and we agreed that this had to be our best all time vacation.
This piece is spoken for. I'm counting on the income for Mission Uganda.
